Recently there have been many nutritional developments in intensive livestock farming. The requirements for additives in livestock feeds have become stricter and many farmers are looking for alternatives to compensate for this. This search is not always easy. However, organic acids may contribute to improving the overall health of poultry. Organic acids lower the gastric pH of the animals and thus promote protein digestion. Optimal protein digestion results in maximum growth and immunity of the animals. In addition, many pathogenic microorganisms are sensitive to acids.

Intra Aqua Acid Mineral is a synergistic mixture of various organic acids and minerals developed to add through the drinking water of poultry. Adding Intra Aqua Acid Mineral to the drinking water of poultry allows all ingredients to be absorbed easily. Animals having a reduced immunity or being in poorer condition will continue to drink whereas their feed intake is usually reduced.

Good quality

For the composition of Intra Aqua Acid Mineral, the quality of the acids was taken into account, as well as what they can contribute to the animals’ health. Unlike many other acid mixtures, Intra Aqua Acid Mineral contains a relatively high content of lactic acid. This acid can easily be processed by poultry because it is an acid naturally produced by the body.

Instructions for use

As needed, administer 0.5 - 1 l of Intra Aqua Acid Mineral per 1,000 l of drinking water (0.05 - 0.1%) for a period of 3 to 10 days. The product will reduce the drinking water pH to 4 – 4.5 when the original pH was between 7 and 7.5. Do not add any other products to the drinking water when using Intra Aqua Acid Mineral.

With each can of Intra Aqua Acid Mineral, pH strips are supplied. All drinking water is different, so for every drinking water an optimal dose needs to be determined. We advise reducing the water pH to 4 – 4.5.

Other information

The product does not pollute the drinking water system. Store in a frost-free place.
